City of Toronto

The Problem: Citizens lack of situational awareness on the roads.
The Ask:
A reminder to stay aware of all the action on the Road.
The location: TTC Bus Kings.
Our Answer: The road is a busy place, shared by pedestrians, cyclists and drivers at all times. Here we connected these multiple targets using a singular visual method, by having the subjects face (notably around the eyes) painted with icons representing these targets.

Condo Recycling Awareness

The Problem: Condo residents are not recycling.
The Ask: Bring awareness to this problem, and encourage better behaviour. The location: TTC Bus Kings
Our Answer: To put the problem in a relatable terms, we wrapped a street car in recyclable clutter inside and out, accompanied with various statements visually reflective of a surgeon general warning. This program not only helped put the problem in perspective by its sheer size, but also by the uncomfortable nature of being surrounded by garbage (recycling), creating a sense of urgency for the issue.

Condo Recycling Reminder (pt.2)

The Problem: Condo residents are STILL not recycling, enough.
The Ask: Bring awareness to this problem, and encourage better behaviour.
The location: Magazines, Newspapers, Direct Mail
Our Answer: Create a contrast between a condos garbage chute and a serene picture of nature, we were able to show the importance and value of recycling properly. The DM piece had an interactive tab for people to engage with then promptly getting the campaigns message.

The Problem: People are forgetting their reusable bags at home when shopping.
The Ask: Bring awareness to this issue and change behaviour.
The location: Magazine, Newspaper, Billboards, Social Media, Transit Shelters
Our Answer: Here we used an established visual for a reminder (tying a string around your finger), and simply replaced the string with a reusable bag.
